Fees

Southcare Medical is a private billing practice. A gap payment applies for all patients except children under 15 years of age who will be bulk billed Monday to Friday. There is no bulk billing on weekends due to increased costs. DVA patients are always bulk billed.

All Phone and video consultations are charged at the same fee levels as face to face consults.

Patient gaps vary between $25 to $50 depending on the length and complexity of the consultation. Concession card holders are charges a discounted rate – please ensure you bring your current concession card to the appointment.

Higher patient gaps apply for procedures such as mirena, iron infusion, removal of skin lesions. Your doctor will discuss this with you before any procedure.

We ask that full payment is made on the day of consultation.

All fees charged are at the discretion of each doctor. If you have any concerns please discuss with your GP.

  • Skin Clinic appointments are at a higher GAP rate

  • Saturday’s after 1pm HIGH RATES apply
